FUN PASS
A Fun Pass is required for admission, rides, games, food & beverages, novelties, and some attractions. You may purchase and reload Fun Passes at the card units at the entrance to the Fair and at the Fun Passes trailers located throughout the fairgrounds. The initial purchse of a Fun Pass from the blue card units requires the use of a $20 bill. Once purchased, however, you may reload the card using a $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, or $100 bill. The large red kiosks located on the fairgrounds accept credit cards and cash.
Each Fun Pass credit is equivalent to 10 cents. $3=30 credits; $5=50 credits; $10=100 credits; $20=200 credits, $50 = 500 credits, $100 = 1,000 credits
If you have credits on a Fun Pass that you purchased at any previous E. K. Fernandez Shows carnival or fair, those credits are good at the 50th State Fair.

Join Carole Kai and the Hawaii Stars staff as they present some of Hawaii's amazing and talented young people who will compete for a chance to appear with Carole Kai and Kimo Kahoano on the Hawaii Stars television program in September. The competiton is open to children 5 to 18 years of age and includes choral group competitions, ukuele competitions, and youth singing competitions. Every contestant receives a 50th State Fair gift pack, and winners receive cash prizes.

The Queen Lili'uokalani Keiki Hula Competition was created in 1976 in honor of the Queen of Hawai'i. Hundreds of children compete annually with thousands in attendance at the Neal Blaisdell Center Arena. It is also televised for a global audience. E. K. Fernandez Shows, the oldest Native Hawaiian-owned business in the Islands, is proud to partner with Hawaii's leading children's hula competition to feature some of the state's leading keiki halau who are preparing for the 44th Annual Queen Liliuokalani Keiki Hula Competiton on July 25, 26 & 27, 2019.
